"What’s up with the airplanes?" We get asked from time to time. The journey metaphor just fits. Everyone’s learning or career path has takeoffs, turbulence, reroutes, and unexpected landings — and we wanted a brand that reflected that. From a business point of view, the possibilities for marketing, learning content, storytelling, and emotional connection are endless — and that’s what our learners deserve.

The most unconventional professionals you’ll ever meet. The kind who’ll talk to you like a mate, support you like a coach, and guide you calmly — with humour, care, honest motivation, and the occasional virtual cup of tea. No false hope, no long words — just real people who’ve got your back.
Founder (Captain)
Christopher
Role:
The creative engine. Chief Tutor. Chaos enthusiast. Known for turning metaphors into motivation. Inspired by Freire, Burgess, and tea-fuelled breakthroughs. Brings humour, heart, and big ideas.

Professional Experience:
Christopher’s been a student, examiner, lecturer, tutor, and step-parent—so he knows education from every angle. He’s held Marketing Manager roles, built businesses from the ground up.
Lived Experience:
​
He has been burned out, bounced back, and lived the ups and downs of neurodivergence. He’s still flying—and now helps others take off, too.

Strategic Ops (Air Control)
Laura
Role:
Admin queen. Calm in the storm. If it’s not in the folder, it doesn’t exist. She brings reality to the Captain's whirlwind vision and gently grounds every big dream back in the present day where it belongs.

Professional Experience:

Laura’s a former nurse and care coordinator with a gift for helping others feel safe and seen. She’s trained in advanced first aid, volunteered with St John Ambulance.
Lived Experience:
She bring lived experience of mental health, disability, and motherhood. Compassion meets capability in everything she does.
